He hasn't achieved anything in a decade and showed he's lost his competitive hunger by going to China.

This is an absolute embarrassment to everyone associated with the club. We are the butt of the joke again. We exist just to be a laughing stock and a meme this days.
he's two years older than Moyes, he is by no means finished. He took a monster wage to get away from Ashley no disgrace in that.

People need to see this a bit more clearly. The past is irrelevant. I don't recall the hysteria when we signed Beardsley or Ablett. He made some rude comments about Everton fifteen years ago. Big Deal. In any discussion of the best managers in Europe in the last twenty years, Benitez would definitely be on that list. And now he's going to be manager at Everton and sort out that dreadful gang of bellends at FF, and sign some decent players that aren't Coutinho and some other mercenaries looking for a last pay out.
Yep- he will sign some very good players. This all makes sense. Time to move on, forget the past.

He's past it. The fans hate him. He will get no grace period. First bad run and Goodison will be toxic. Our players are cowards, so a bad atmosphere at Goodison will result in terrible results. The fat mess koppite won't be able to ditch them all.

It's a terrible idea which has little to nothing to do with "small club" comments.

I find it odd that you can't see it. There is a very real possibility that he will be booed onto the pitch for his first home game. How can this end well?
