He went through Sparta Prague, Steau Bucharest, Rubin Kazan, Basel and Benfica with the reigning European champions + Hazard 8 years ago. Is that really that impressive?I was particularly impressed with Benitez’s recent Europa League victory, but I agree that he hasn’t set the world alight that much over the last 5 years.
Why does he think he lives in Liverpool?
I worked up there for several years and sadly never bumped into him. Some are decent and knowledgeable enough really. They probably think similar about our fans, especially if they look in here.
You say that but he's apparently done a cracking blog while he was in China, surely that means he's good enough to take on our managers job.If Moshiri had any kind of conviction about Benitez and had any balls in his decision he’d have appointed him by now. We’re stringing him along waiting for someone else to pop up. He’s clearly the wrong man and everybody knows it, we’re only onto a loser if he’s appointed.
Think the board are at a cross roads - do they go for an exciting manager who's a risk but could achieve something unexpected with us or do they go with a steady eddie safe pair of hands like Benitez or Nuno who'll have us around top 10 pushing europe but likely no real success however will see us through to BMD safely?
I would prefer the former but I can see why the board are looking at Benitez.

Sarcasm obviously doesn't translate into written words very well.If Moshiri had any kind of conviction about Benitez and had any balls in his decision he’d have appointed him by now. Sorry that was meant to be a laughing face, my ham thumbs are my downfall once again!Sarcasm obviously doesn't translate into written words very well.
