Benitez is such a bad appointment IN THEIR EYES that they'd take Howe in a heartbeat over him.

Not saying they want Howe, or I do for that matter... but a straight up choice of the two. Who would you pick? considering you're going to alienate a substantial number of fans with one, and just disappoint irrespective of the pick.

I think you’re misjudging the fan base, if you think there will be no come backs from appointing Howe. That appointment will also go toxic very quickly.
