They woud be well advised to avoid the welcome announcement and ditch Z-Cars for the Funeral March.i think Gbamin will start 1st home game under Benitez to prevent some booinh they can say: please welcome our new manager and please welcome back Ghabaminnnnnnnn lol
Why angry? Because he managed the scum?Absolutely abysmal business. Also it wont be a few. Oh and not negative, angry, big difference.
Or they could continue to go to work and collect a fat pay cheque every month. Love how people flaunt morals and ethics when it's not their money.I've thought the board are inept and lacking ambition, but this appointment would just go and prove it for me.
And if anyone on the board is against the appointment, then the right thing for them to do would be to resign.
Supporters haven’t interviewed him. 95% of those whinging about him will be won over if he delivers, that’s the fickle nature of football. Just don’t get all negativity before he’s even had a training session, alladyce was a far worse choice but don’t remember this level of hatred before he was announced
In fairness (and in no way advocating his appointment) that sounds like he set up the team to play to their strengths (or lack of them) which I don't think is something you can criticise too much.Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle generally set up in a 5-4-1 formation for the majority of the 2018/19 season. The formation rarely changed as it suited the squad’s players and disguised their flaws.
This was the shape they sat and defended in with their low block. As they were a very defensive side under Benitez, they were in this shape for the majority of their matches.
Under Rafael, Newcastle were a very defensive-minded side. Benitez has always had a reputation for being a very pragmatic and tactically brilliant coach. At Newcastle, it was no different, his football was not easy on the eye.
Newcastle typically allowed the opposition to build out from the back with minimal pressure.
Newcastle United: Life with and without Rafa Benitez
This tactical analysis article will be an analysis, comparing the tactics of Newcastle under Steve Bruce and Rafael Benitez. We will be looking at the different tactics of Newcastle under Benitez and Bruce, from the 2018/19 and 2019/20 season.totalfootballanalysis.com
Can't hardly wait to be bored to death once again.
Kids. Don't do drugs.'Rafael Rafael Rafael benitez, Rafael Rafael benitez la la la la la, he's got dumfries and nunes'
(Played in the tune of la bamba)
Never wanted Benitez , wanted Ajax boss but if he gets the job, I’ll still be an Everton fan .A few new posters defending the benitez appointment.
I dread the Derby but getting pasted with him in charge will be carnageCan’t wait for a few losses and the Agent Rafael banner to appear in the Kop.
I doubt we'll be doing anything of the sort. Stop thinking you are the all-conquering all-seeing intelligent one and the rest of us are a level below you. You might think that but there are many on here who you wholly underestimate and think that nobody will call you out because you are the bullying type. As a matter of interest, what is your highest tertiary qualification?Announcement with a new signing and saying more to come.
The people will be clapping like seals for more.

On the flipside he played more attacking footy at Valencia, the reds, Chelsea & Madrid and absolutely battered some teams during his tenures there.Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle generally set up in a 5-4-1 formation for the majority of the 2018/19 season. Would be nice if we could do that rather than trying to crowbar our squad into a system that the manager wants but they clearly can't play in.
