Stinks to high heaven, no new manager can ever change the culture at Everton because there is a crew of untouchables waiting to undermine them whenever they feel threatened.

The pattern is always the same, brief upturn in performance before gradually slipping backwards again.

Then after they get rid of each manager the rumours come out about how bad they were, even Carlo Ancelotti.

If only Nuno got his way but that was never going to happen

I didn't want Nuno in the end as didnt think he would achieve the same here as he did at Wolves but a big positive would have been him turfing the jobs for the boys out the door.

You seem quite upset that people dont want ‘BIG DUNC’ around mate, whys that??
It cud be anyone not just Ferguson. Its the way people comment about him like they know what he contributes. As i said, i dont and neither do others. He may or not be the best coach in there but we just dont know really do we. Lets slag Baines off as well eh. I reckon with cast iron certainty that he s rubbish at his job. That last bit was obviously unfounded. A bit like all the previous rambling about Ferguson.

I dont know if he s any good and guess what. Neither do you. Hate this type of comment. Groundless ramblings!
Me to also do they really think he gone to the board and said you better not get rid of me just the maddest thing must be ok as apparently Carlo wanted him at RM

Reeks though mate that he’s been part of about 6 failed managerial regimes now though. If he werent Duncan Ferguson he’d have been binned with Martinez & Graeme Jones 5yrs ago…

Why the hell are we only going for managers who will keep Dunc on as assistant?

Its absolutely incredible he's like a screaming skull - dare move him and the place crumbles to dust and hell descends on County Road lol
Ferguson is becoming the managerial equivalent of Kenwright where he's just empty symbol and seems desperate to retain a position at club. That same mentality resulted with an unqualified Moshiri acquiring our club.

I posted this after Nuno talks broke down. I still think it may be true.
For what it's worth here is a thought on this. (or is it a conspiracy theory)
I think the board genuinely want to build a dynasty. I believe that rightly or wrongly they have devised a plan.
They have already pencilled in Duncan Ferguson as a future Everton manager.
I'm sure that Carlo Ancelotti accepted that part of his 'job description' would be that he acts as a mentor for Duncan and would 'train him up' to be the next manager.
Carlo leaving early put a spanner in the works, as the board feel it is not yet Duncan's time.
Whoever gets the job this time will have to agree the plan. Nuno obviously didn't, as he wanted to bring in his own staff. Benitez has agreed to continue Carlo's mentorship of Duncan.
Now this may be total bollix. . . . . . . . . . . or it may not.
Top tip - get your money on Duncan Ferguson becoming our next but one manager ;)
