Got us 72 points with no money, and actually plays attacking football. Assed watching super defensive, 9 men behind the ball hoofball crap anymore

Because of moyes defence when he tried to instill his own philosophy on the team it fell to bits he destroyed to dressing room and the harmony of the squad to the point where eto was telling people to leave because martinez was going to get them relegated.

Truly Terrible manager.

Everton have started negotiations with Nuno Espirito Santo over their vacant managerial hotseat as they look to find a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti.

The Italian walked out on the club in dramatic fashion on Tuesday after former club Real Madrid came calling following the resignation of Zinedine Zidane, saying he had been settled at Goodison Park before receiving an 'unexpected opportunity'.

The Toffees board have been left stunned by his departure but Sportsmail understands there was a feeling as early as last week that Ancelotti could end up at the Bernabeu and had identified former Wolves boss Espirito Santo as a replacement.

atletico madrid got horrible results with simeone right? right? or lets say celta de vigo with coudet... lille with bielsa... etc etc, you are just plain wrong .

everton cant be afraid to take chances, YOU GOT NOTHING TO LOSE, so why not aim high?. not saying just gallardo fits the role.. it could be any coach young with a winning record and pref with years at 1 team (proving he can build around from scratch)

If he came I would back him mate, I just think its a totally different level of competition not just in terms of the quality of opposition but also the opposition manager in the dug out and the pace and intensity of the Premier League.

Whoever we appoint will have some happy and unhappy cant please everyone.

The 47-year-old is currently in Portugal but his representatives are speaking to Everton chiefs about taking the role in the dugout. He has already held talks with Crystal Palace over the possibility of succeeding Roy Hodgson.

Espirito Santo enjoyed a hugely successful four-year spell at Molineux - transforming them from an under-performing mid table side in the Championship to qualification for the Europa League.
