Why would a bedsheet lead to our fans scrapping amongst themselves. I dont quite follow that logic.

The fans aren’t united on it. They might be united on here. But I’ve spoke to loads of match going blues not on forums and twitter who are content with it. People want to go the game and support the team rather than pin banners up and want us to lose games.

No one will want to lose games, thats a load of nonsense. Once the match starts people will want to win because natural instinct takes over.

But imo the opposition to this is as strong as I've seen for any issue, maybe other than Kirkby. People will turn on the manager so quickly if things go bad and if some of our supporters don't like that then fair enough, but the board know this when making the appointment.

People are entitled to be upset and all the superblues saying support the team etc etc need to accept these are legitimate concerns even if they can stomach Benitez themselves.

The atmosphere might get very very bad if results are poor but there won't be scraps in the stand. Let's be sensible here, anyone wanting to fight over Benitez with fellow supporters is a bit of an idiot.
