Moshiri will give him at least 9M a year

Benitez has probably tricked them into thinking we need him rather than the other way round
Fair play to Benitez for getting what he can. I have no real ill feeling towards him for any of this (other than the ill feeling I already have for him).

He shouldn't be on any more than 5.

If you was RB and seeing all the fans against your appointment would you still want the job? Would you still want to put yourself through that with you and your family living so close to the area?

AND why are the board continuing with this? Anyone and everyone have told them it is devisive and would be a mistake..........

Said the same thing.

As for the board...Usmanov and Brands are apparently the ones agreeing on Rafael

He will probably have a clause, that if they give in to fan pressure within 12 months, but he is averaging over x points per game, then they will incur extra penalties and give him double his contract payout or some such thing if they sack him.

I would if I was him, knowing that they are desperate and will put up with all the fan unrest to get him

….I expect the only clause he has is that he can go for free if a club across Stanley Park come calling. They are his team, they will always be his team.

Somehow I don't find it a coincidence that nearly every single "independent" representative of Everton media are bigging Benitez up and telling everyone to look past his RS history and lack of success for most of the last decade.

They must put quite a spread on for those media relation kickabouts at Goodison.

Not one of them had the bottle to come out and honestly slaughter them for this horrific choice.

It's a highly incentivised contract, normally that would be reassuring till you remember Ancelotti had a 3m bonus for avoiding relegation

King, Joyce, Bascombe and Maddock are all reds. They're not gonna slag off one of their heroes.

We should move to Caldy. The River Dee is nice too and "Rafael" won't have to travel as far which is the most important thing.

Better class of people out that way too, We (they) can charge more for tickets.
Are you a bitter blue lol joking look if our rich owner is convinced with Raffa - we have to bear with it .....
If he flops sacked just like the last lot he chosen.......
Look at Fat Sam horrible appointment - hated that - yet finished two places higher than Carlo......
Any Manager is a risk -

I am aware they're all kopites, I'm not talking about them.

The lads doing ToffeeTV, The Blue Room, The Echo podcasts and columns are all supposedly Blues.

Not a single one of them has the bullocks to call this appointment out as the insulting farce it is.

Cowards the lot of them. Calling for fans to unite behind Benitez or you're a bad blue and the problem at the club when they make their living off of moaning about the team and manager each week.
