There is investment between Mendes & Wolves (or vice versa). Whilst Nuno will inevitably remain a client of his, Mendes' players will be pushed towards Wolves.

That's the concern I suppose. What would Santo be like without the preferential Wolves players?

Funny how the 2 'frontrunners' are also conveniently currently in contract negotiations with other clubs already. Sky never even had a clue that Carlo was off till 6 hours before so forgive me for being a bit dubious of them knowing the ins and outs of the board meeting yesterday and who our targets are.
It does have a bit of a similar air as the lead up to the Ancelotti appointment, this. Same names being touted as well.

Neville Southall saying give the job to Duncan. I’m not saying I’m excited at that but I think it would probably unite more fans than divide them.

Honestly tho I don’t know anymore, I don’t trust the people at the club at all and that’s a crappy way to be but I won’t lie to myself either. It’s crap this.

That's even worse than going for a failed Wolves manager. If Duncan really wants to be a manager, go and manage Southport, or Accrington, and prove yourself.

Are you describing Everton or Wolves?

Because it seems that you're okay with Nuno dealing with injuries, but Ancelotti gets a slating?

Wolves, in 38 games scored more than two goals, just once.
Wolves, in 38 games scored more than one goal, just ten times.

They football was atrocious throughout. Neves wasn't interested, and he couldn't get half of them motivated, and I've seen the group of players we have here... deja vu.

Huge no, I'm against Anti-Football, may aswell go for Dyche.
I feel like the injuries were more incapacitating at wolves but I digress definitely get the parallels between us and wolves. We have diverging viewpoints as I thought in previous seasons the football is serviceable. I think he's superior to dyche , although I agree I'd rather have a more progressive manager but I wouldn't be appalled by his appointment. The gist your putting forth makes sense anti football is a scourge, and it was obviously present this season, I thought previous seasons it was more palatable. But that's just down to different perceptions but I can respect your objections.

People are very adamant who they don't want but very few have any idea who they do want. Or they want people who would never consider coming here.

There is no one we hire who won't be underwhelming right now. We need a bit of realism and to take a step back. It's not as easy as people think to fix everton. I'm not sure there's one manager in world football who can do it in a short space of time.

I don't completely hate the Potter shouts to be honest, for where we are as a club the options are generally someone who's recently failed at a club or someone who hadn't been tested at this level. Although I get that there are similarities to Martinez.

Honestly think people need to just come to the reality that he won’t actually come here, not because we’re a joke or Brighton are bigger, I just genuinely believe he’s completely invested in the project he’s got at Brighton and will want to see it through.

They’ve got a good setup, and he seems to have a good eye for talent himself and I think he thinks he can make Brighton a European contender... he may never actually do that, but I can’t see him leaving his set up at Brighton.

It's recency bias, but I'd be wary/concerned based on what I saw this season at Molyneux. Outside of the past few months he's been very reticent to blood youngsters, he's shown there was a distinct lack of a plan B and has placed huge reliance on the performance of one or two individuals.

Forgive me for being cynical, but we've seen enough of that at Goodison in recent years for Nuno to be raising massive red flags for me.
