I swear I feel like I’ve had a Gary sometimes , moshiri knows better . We’re lucky to get Benitez it could be Howe who apparently is one of only 3 managers in the world available . Nobody wants a job that last year paid I think in the top 8 in the world , thank god a bloke who took a career break in China will step down to save us from inevitable relegation

Everyone is allowed to feel how they feel about this, but if there was a decent other candidate don't you think we would have taken that easy way out?

We don't know what these people are demanding, we only see a small postage stamp of the process. Move on to the lesser names we could readily get and we are on to Dyche, Howe, Hughes, Dunc, Potter and I suppose we could have Allardyce back. At this stage I would take Potter where beforehand that was a big no no but I don't underestimate how risky that would be with our current players. We have to come to terms we are not the draw we once were and there isn't a neverending pot of money to keep pumping in.

Who would you put in charge?

There was a plan all along!

A manager that relegated Newcastle and more recently finished 10th in the Chinese league and has done nothing of note for years is now the best we can get and we should be lucky that he we wants to come here, that is how a section of the fan base has now swung. The Liverpool connection is secondary in all this, because for me he's a has been and finished as a top level manager.

yeah but somebody was nasty so you have to love the decision now , Je suis Benitez and all that

I'm afraid the last 5-6 years have shown in great detail how very little our current masters have in ideas of how to make us successful.

The ONUS is very firmly on them to prove US wrong, they have very much failed thus far.

I am seeing nothing but an affirmation of this with this hugely controversial and divisive appointment.

What are you on about, Moshiri is doing the job of dividing the fan base better than any fan could
No. You have got to be more than retarded to start putting banners threatening the bloke near his house. It then makes the nationals and we all look like scumbags. If the two clubs did not exchange staff every so often then Sheedy would not have been able to v-sign the kop as he slotted one in, greatest Derby moment other than Sharpe's goal at Anfield.

It is a business we support but do not own. A football club. If he is our manager then I hope he does well because I expect Everton to win every game and one day I will be right again for a good while.
