If this announcement does happen today, this is the only way they are getting around it IMO.

They have to be braced for what's going to be a pretty bad initial 48 hours and then only worse when the stadium opens for fans and games.

Announce Benitez, with a few signings and then get on with it. I wish the club had balls though, don't interview someone 5 times and then keep hanging on for 3 weeks after.

Not going all Matty (sorry mate), but the hold up is ridiculous.

Your not keeping up are you, the police are looking into it, they should be able to find them, has it not occurred to you if they do they might pass the details to the club? Its it not then reasonable to assume the club will do the correct thing and ban them?

Well it’s not so much not keeping up as not being a mind reader. You said it would be a weakness of the club to not find and ban them so that’s what I commented on.
