….but as we agreed, Benitez is a ‘safe’ appointment. Surely they could’ve found plenty of ‘safe’ options rather than select somebody so divisive to the fan base.

Its a political statement. i think it’s the end of Kenwright era, especially if Duncan Ferguson is demoted/sacked.

But would we have accepted a "safe" appointment regardless mate?

Imagine had a Pulis/Sam Alladyce got the job the fans would be in uproar. I mentioned Sean Dyche and everyone laughed saying he's crap and dont want him near the club.

Mate can you just pack it in now

a lot of people are very upset by this and you attempting to relentlessly ram ‘medicine’ down people’s throats is having very much the opposite of its intended effect.

Everton has a great charity in EITC, let those people do what they know best in this department. All of a sudden the club has to step in and do its own charity work in reuniting Spanish millionaire managers with their families in Liverpool.

1.The board does the job of the DOF by hiring managers.
2.Every manager tries to have their say over the DOF.
3.And now the board is trying to do charity work in place of EITC.

Will anybody stick to their jobs for once?
