Thanks mate, and again a really good summary.

I think the positives for Nuno are the lack of downside risk. He knows the league very well, builds teams from the back and in honesty I do think losing Jota/Jiminez and replacing them with that Silva killed your season to a greater degree.

You are right about time. I think he had a lot of credit in the bank at Wolves as he took you from what-half way up the championship? So he had earned that time and respect. He's obviously from a coiled spring here and the expectation, rightly or wrong is going to be that we break into the top 6 (which is the same for Wolves to be fair). Both clubs have spent a fair bit of money and will likely continue too, so that had to be the expectation really. So in honesty, if he had a season like you've had this season, he will struggle to survive it, but if he had 2 in the bank like you did before, I think he'd be ok.

As for the Mendes link, it was more the other way mate. I meant that without the favourable signing's from Mendes how good will he be? As I said to the other Wolves fans, certain Everton fans are impressed with his recruitment and feel he could do the same here. My point is thats not really his recruitment. I'm sure he helped, but fundamentally the relationship is with Wolves not Nuno. So we can't just assume it would work the same way.

As for Wolves yea, it's an interesting one Bruno Lage. He's probably not the most favourable manager and was a bit up and down at Benfica, but he fits your system and what you are trying to do, so in that sense he makes sense. It will certainly be an interesting ride. Getting Jiminez and Neto fit will be important for you guys. You've probably got 30+ league goals tied up in those two.

Why did you let Jota go to that lot by the way?
All good comments, ref Jota, he was struggling to make the first 11, he needed a fresh challenge and certainly doing well over at the red half, he can be injury prone as they are finding out but he is playing with a very much attack based philosophy under Kippy rather than have the lead on as per Nuno, but we shop in different shops to Liverpool so they can afford to be a little more positive going forwards

doubt he'd come to knife at a gunfight then, nevermind

Spent about £350m in 3 years at Chelsea.
Spent close to £250m at Inter in 2 years.

We gave Carlo Ancelotti no money in his first transfer window and give him about 50m to spend in the summer, let him go into a season with no out and out right winger and one available right back. When we needed recruitments in the winter he was given Josh King from Bournemouth....

He wouldn’t last two seconds here him.

...yep, Sky ran that report yesterday & were odds-against this morning. I agree with you, I wouldn’t be surprised if our next Manager isn’t in that list.
Yeah I hope not unless it’s Conte too to be fair. Would like something a bit out of left field rather than usual prem merry-go-round managers
