There are quite a few interviews on YouTube with Dyche and you'll be suprised just how much tactical knowledge of the game he has. He has a reputation of being a hoof merchant but he cant afford to play any other way with Burnleys budget.

If he tried playing tippy tappy football with the quality of players at his disposal they'll have gone down like El Loco and Parker.

Would actually like to see what he could with a proper budget although thats only if we are unable to bag ourselves a top manager.

Not bad at all compared to frauds like Potter and Howe who play "fancy togger".

Fair play to those that want Conte I just see 'high maintenance'. Yes we want to appoint the best and attract the best, but like Ancelotti and certainly Koeman before him, I don't think these type of manager see Everton as anything other than a stepping stone. Like someone said earlier we need stability it's been a turbulent few years. Who do you trust?

I was one of the 71. I just reckon Rafael would get us (much) higher than 10th, would see the project through, wind the oppo. up a bit more and not play the plucky nice guy loser the media makes us out to be.

Conte doesnt need a stepping stone. Koeman always wanted the barca job. Ancelotti has been done to death now on this forum. Real madrid coming in and i think the realisation of how much work, ie how average/bad this set up is hit home. He was starting to call out the players. Basically what Everton fans have been doing. Its just not good when the manager has probably just given up on them.
Agree with stability because this could get choppy. Im already dreading going into next season with the bulk of this lot. Dont care what anyone says i think ancelotti was polishing a turd.
I'd like graham potter. He's a thinker of a coach, plays a style of football i think Everton fans would embrace and could be long term. but would he be able to steady the turds for a season.
