There's people here who'd have been chuffed with a no mark cone layer employed as Everton manager but kick up a storm over a decent manager with a record of ACTUALLY leading football clubs fairly successfully.

The hypocrisy is off the charts.

If the appointment of Nuno happens I will be proud to have him as Everton manager. He starts with a clean slate...which is something any rational supporter will hand him.
Where is the success? He essentially failed at both Valencia and Porto.

People can't have it both way, though: one can't be all magnanimously for giving Nuno a chance and then pitchforking Moshiri when it all goes tragically wrong. People either back Mosh on this one or they don't. I think it's a placeholder appointment and shows little to no ambition. It's from this position that I will watch how Nuno gets on - but I won't be slagging him off. I'll reserve my fire for Moshiri. If you're going to pull rank and impose your own personal choice on the club, then you take the responsibility when it goes wrong (or right). Which begs the question: what is Brands's role? Moshiri's mudguard?

Here you go then mate.

Fabio Silva - £36 million
Semedo - £27 million
Hoever - £9 million
Marcal - £2 million
Toti Gomes - £1 million

Total for last season roughly £75 million.

Jimenez £34 million
Podence £18 million
Cutrone £16 million
Neto £16 million
Dendoncker £12 million
Jordao £8 million
Matheson £1 million

Season before £105 million

Otto £19 million
Traore £18 million
Patricio £16 million
Jota £13 million
Boly £11 million
Afobe £10 million
Moutinho £5 million
Bonatini £3 million
Jimenez loan fee £3 million
Vinagre £2 million
Dendoncker loan fee £1 million

This season £101 million

Total spent in the last 3 seasons roughly £281 million.

You're welcome.
Where's that from?

We've got a statue of The Holy Trinity outside Goodison Park, here's hoping we have one of The Holy Ghost when Nuno leaves us. If he's our next manager then I wish him all the luck in the world.

I can only presume all the good managers turned us down, so we've decided to get this guy in to steady the ship until we can get someone better in.
