if it's what they've done elsewhere it's stadium name rights and maybe a logo on the roof. not a bad deal at all and half expected based on their previous work.

Hey, my home town stadium!

Yeah the advertising isn't all that bad IMO. I'd much prefer Everton stadium have a unique name but if there's money might as well go for it considering it's not some skeezy betting site. The color is my only concern, but I'm sure they'll work something out.

Also, the massive ugly stage in the picture is finally going away. Major renovations happening in part thanks to some Friedkin finding.

Can’t stop looking at that roof on the FC Dallas stadium and wondering “why?”

It's because when the stadium was built, it was only the 3rd stadium in the country specifically made for the sport, and it was for a league that they weren't sure would exist in 5 years. They built the stage to make it feasible for the stadium to still be able to host big events if the league were to go under. It made sense at the time in line 2004 but it's now extremely dated.
