I think I’m mostly going to feel a simple sense of relief today.

There will be a quiet announcement, I’m not expecting more than that.

Maybe we’re hear about some board appointments - which will obviously be interesting if we do - but I think there’s basically zero chance there are any fireworks today.

Really looking forward to the official corner flag.

Agree with this. I think I read somewhere they don’t want to make same mistake when they announced their Roma purchase, which came with lots of promises, they’ve so far not been able to fulfil.

I think it’ll be a far more sensible & toned down announcement. Which I’m fine with.

Actions speak louder than words, which I think will be the message.

In true Everton style there will be a live stream of the paperwork being signed with one of the lickspittles from the media team asking inane questions and then 2 minutes in a blank screen with “technical issues” emblazoned across it will stay for the next 88 minutes.

Everything touched or put in place by Kenwright needs the bin asap, time to run this football club like the serious business it can be. Standards and accountability across the board please Friedkins. Anything with a whiff of Kenwright needs firing in to the sun (Hi Sean).

Yes, I think seeing something different to their Roma announcement would be a good sign that they’ve learned from their mistakes.

I know it’s happening, why am I constantly refreshing this thing!!! I’ve got back to back meetings from 9-11 this morning, I’ve waited months and I’ll miss the initial joy when it lands because I’ll be talking about nonsense in work.
That might not be a bad thing. What hurts the most about this club in the past has being able to enjoy moments of joy that make you think we are back on the road to being serious contenders again, only to end up in a worse states then ever a short time later. Best to avoid joy and stay miserable.

Not often a club gets new ownership and a new stadium within a few days of each other.

If we don't reset and go on an upwards trajectory from this then we never will.

We all deserve this.
True, but we all need to manage expectations. There is no quick fix for the state we are in. New owners, and a new, fantastic stadium are huge positives and hopefully change our trajectory - but we still can't afford too many missteps along the way.

Cautiously optimistic is my current state.
