The excitement of the takeover has been well and truly extinguished...

Just a continuation of the previous!
It's been a couple of weeks since they officially took over, people should probably let time transpire a little further before they make sweeping statements like the friedkins are being negligent, if another month or so goes by and the dinosaur is still here with us not winning games then I think its fair to scrutinize them

I don’t think these guys know much about football

I’m afraid it will be blind luck if they find anyone with a vision to take us forward (see their Roma appointments for details, all completely different options, same scattergun approach we have had here)

They are willing to roll the dice though and blind luck is a possibility

Nah. They took over with us above the drop mate.

Get their finger out and get us some signings and we'll be sound
Well yeah in an ideal world.

Yet you know how low we have sunk under Kenwright/ Moshiri / Benitez / Lampard / Dyche.

Are you expecting then to turn it all to unicorn gold in 5 months like? What if they don’t?

Are you going to turn on them in 5 months? After not turning on a manager producing results well over 5 months.

That would surely be double standards wouldn’t it?

They won a European cup with Roma, Roma where in a similar finance situation to us yet they been to 2 European finals, so they had a bad choice this season, it’s believed De Rossi hit a player and that why he was sacked

Why would they not care about a football club they’ve just spent hundreds of millions on?
Not so sure they have spend hundreds of millions...we know they have taken a loan.and a big one too, with a better interest rate...we just don't know how much for. They can use the stadium revenue to pay it back as long as we are a pl club. Whatever happens in January will be very telling on what to expect or not from them in the long run.

Not after gold mate.

Just not getting worse.

My point is a very simple one: it’s ridiculous to claim they don’t care.

As far as the PL goes, I think we’ve hit rock bottom.

Hopefully they can stop us dropping further.

The first step to recovery is obvious. Do away with the prehistoric, arrogant serial loser manager and try and get somebody in pronto to steady the ship.
