I'd sated that Everton's founders in the limited company era were social reformers and good men.
iirc, in the 30s when those 'good men' involvement was coming to an end / fading...and times were different, somebody(s) decided to move from shareholders 'One Man One Vote' to 1 share one vote.
This concentrated decision making in the hands of the rich, not necessarily in the hands of the competent

John Moores was both rich and competent
Kenwright was poor but cunning
Moshiri was neither
Then John Moores' name was raised - someone I condemned before - as if that were relevant to a discussion about people in the nineteenth century...and a contradiction of my view.
