Glad Chong is being kept on with the stadium and area regeneration considering that’s what he was brought in for. Took on a thankless job while the rats deserted the ship.

People assume he will stay here till he retires, I think his "era" ends like the majority of Everton managers, with him getting sacked.

Almost all football management careers end in failure...and the sack.

Have to admit I'm concerned by the reports suggesting they're giving Moyes the keys to the kingdom after just a handful of games. Yes, it's been a great start, but giving him total control and bringing in his mates in key jobs (if true, of course) is the kind of thing that should only be considered after a good couple of seasons of clear, sustained improvement, not fewer than 10 games.

Really hope to be proved wrong but it seems incredibly short-sighted, especially ahead of such a crucial summer for the club's future.

They did the same with De Rossi...
