….i am surprised the new owner hasn’t been to a game or visited Goodison. Not sure of his track record of attendance at Roma but it suggests to me that there’ll be no emotion in their policy direction at Everton, it’ll be strictly business.

After what we’ve had to endure, some might see that as a good thing but I don’t believe it’s ’one size fits all’ when it comes to Football, owners neeed to understand the level of emotion in a club.

Fact is apart from Tony Bloom, billionaire owners who actually care about a club are few and far between. We need stability in financial terms and we appear to be getting it, that's the main thing from my point of view.

….definitely but I also think they need to buy into the culture and history of the club. As I said, it’s not ‘one size fits all’.

To be honest I think we're in agreement on that.

Hopefully these can open enough revenue streams so we can invest properly.
