I think they know what is needed especially with such a golden opportunity when we are moving into a new stadium.

We have a great pre-season lined up which will boost commercial sponsors.

Hoping for a few key signings to come in to make a impact which will give the squad and fanbase a boost.

Agree, we have to demand more to push the club on. Fawning over players like Patterson, Mykolenko, Doucoure, Harrison and Beto is exactly the mentality that keeps us down the bottom end of the league.

Hard to believe there is still people on this forum that want all these kept....

No sentiment if a player is not good enough, or there is a better upgrade available then get rid of them.

This club has been run on bullshit sentimentality for long enough really. Bring on a more ruthless and more professional Everton both on and off the field.

Id be very surprised if that was the case, under Kinnear he likes it to be the manager running the team, recruitment people doing recruitment, and him running the club. Whether its the names being mentioned from Leeds like Penrice and Hammond or Newman who Moyes previously worked with, I think it will be more of a collective thing now. Moyes has plenty of coaching work to do without the need for scouting work/player id on top of it.

I was meaning in the interim period until those positions are filled. I’m hoping Moyes will have some say on targets, his track record suggests he can spot a player.
