I can’t see either being here when the take over goes through.
Unless its dramatic I can't see any huge onfield changes until next season.

I like the sound of the restructuring and systemic style changes Thelwell has tried to implement to improve long terms outcomes, doing so with an ever changing and useless board, no money and general off field chaos. I can't be certain if he is any good at his job, but he is an easy target for fans who seem to think he is a scout.

De Rossi hasn't achieved anything as a manager and Dyche is the third best Everton manager in Eggs' lifetime though.

I see the background of de Rossi it's about the same as Rooney did at Birmingham, which is terrible as a manager. His average overall at Roma was 1.9p that's not bad at all.

They extended and backed him after 8 points in the last 8 games of last season, and gave him a new contract till 2027. In this case you should give a manager more time, if you think a manager is the right one knowing this form and not just 4 games...

The bar is set so low that I feel a sense of relief.

However, the sad truth is that placing more of the teams in the Premier League in the hands of American businessmen increases the risk associated with franchises, super leagues and games abroad et al.

Didn't the Roma lid say he got fired at midnight, can defo picture De Rossi going mad in a meeting and getting himself canned.

All hail the Freidkin Group. The people who finally took it watching Everton out of the hands of its less wealthy supporters.

I'm sure it'll all be worth it though.
You missed a bit. 👍

FWIW I’m not a fan of the approach as despite expecting the stadium to continue to sell out every game, something will undoubtably be lost from the atmosphere.
