Short term at least I can see Roma moving several players into Everton (both Bove and Abraham I believe are possible ones in the future), wouldn't utterly shock me to see a deal thst sees DCL move to Rome in January with Abraham moving in a separate deal the other way. Similarly can see a option were Fiorentina cancel Boxes loan - we cancel Mangala (which now seems weird as it was obviously Textor influenced) he then goes Fiorentina and Bove stays at Rome or goes here.

Short term at least the Roma will be the senior club - it simply is more advanced and stronger in every way than we are (with less difficult roadblocks ahead for progression).

Long term wise ultimately it should benefit both sides, open access to each others teams resources and scouting departments, shared knowledge etc, the ability to shift certain players around depending on the needs of both sides.

Wouldn't shock me to find out in the future the agreement to pay off the RMF loan went along the line of - take the settlement offer or once we take over we will ask an independent commission to look into the nature of this loan to see if it breached any rules (or at least the negative PR to both RMF and the image of Kenwright and his mates would have been substantial once the interconnecting web was shown) RMF tol essentially your bleeding of the club is over - settle on how many hundreds of millions you've already essentially stolen from the club and don't push it any further.

Same with ACAP - told to take the offer or after buying the club we'll wait for the court case resolution and we know we'll be paying pennies in the pound afterwards.

Think TFG are serious businessman and acted as such mate.
I think there's a gentlemen's agreement in place with Milan for Abraham. They'll buy him next summer. Just my impression.

Surely there will be some kind of cooperation.

So R&M have been a lender for over a decade ?
Thought Moshiri was supposed to have fully paid up all the Everton Kenwright debts when he took over ? Thanks again Bill still suffering for you're lies I see... high interest loan this one as well, anything to stay in power as long as he could.

From public information I could find, R&MF started loaning to the club in 2016, around 6 months prior to Farhad Moshiri arriving at the club

This appears to be tacit admission that R&MF are the "on shored" version of VIBRAC that was "off shored" previously. The loaning of money of which from off shored lenders was banned in 2016 (8 years ago).

That's how it appears

Thought this was quite interesting. James Horncastle saying they got around FFP at Roma (after spending big) by selling their youngsters, they'll have trouble doing that with us given we don't exactly churn them out at a fast rate

Also them not being able to step foot in Rome due to fan unrest will be good preparation for Everton

Well, we have one very large one (in height and fee).

It's a £200 million loan (or the order thereof) and they had security over the club's bank accounts and properties at and around Goodison Park

Lawyers will have been involved for some time given that the club was experiencing a number of issues (e.g. PSR, 777 Partners and/or was at times experiencing financial issues and there was talk of creditors needing to take a "hair cut" on the loans)

This press release by a law firm is firm evidence that R&MF involvement with EFC is THANKFULLY coming to an end. As law firms don't generally go public until after their work is done as client's prefer confidentiality.

I said something similar on here and got shouted at a number of times

No he really wasn't

It's caused enormous damage to Everton Football Club and it's stakeholders

The worry, the financial strain etc.
I was being sarcastic mate.

The man nearly destroyed us.

I know you were mate, you just set me off ranting about it again. That's all

I'm more relieved than anything we are getting these loans gone (in due course). They've done ridiculous damage to the club

Detest Bill Kenwright's very existence.

He'll never be allowed to have any "tributes" at BMD if I have anything to do with it.

Seems like the R&M funding arrangement is potentially quite complicated if this article is anything to go by.

Didn't think R&M would need a team of legal advisers

I suppose it's not just as simple as paying off a credit card. That and it probably demonstrates how much control they have over the club.

All lenders and counterparties have legal advisers. The documentation to loan money and perfect security on assets can be lengthy and must be flawless.
