I think your figures are conservative mate

That is true.

Certainly on spksors where we are close to 40m already.

But yea, 3 separate things come together, stadium, no debt payments outgoing and sponsorship. That is going to radically shift the finances of the club.

I also think they will get decent people in, who can hopefully maximise the opportunity.

I don't think people realise the turnaround there is going to be. I think the club loses circa 80-90m currently.

60-70m of that is debt repayments that is going to be wiped. You are then going to have huge revenue increases with the stadium, of say 40m and sponsorships which could be about 40-50m. And that's before you talk of maybe a big high profile sponsorship that may come from them.

It is going to be quite transformative.
I think you're close on the cost to service the debt but I think expecting 40m of revenue from the stadium is beyond optimistic.

The sponsorship amounts could potentially get there in time if the product behind it on the pitch justifies that. Friedkin isn't an Usmanov who's going to just pull out naming rights deals for inflated values.

Clearing that debt is going to be massive on its own though. We were paying 5% over prime on 100s of millions with rights and media funding.

If we go through each one. Stadium I probably agree, but the ability to keep people there longer, spending more money is a big factor for me mate. If they can get a tenner more a game out of people, that's 10m quid already. Likewise, if we have 3 events a year, that could be 5-7m an event, so that's another 15-20m. So it's already close to 40m.

Re sponsorships, we have already increased kit sponsorship by circa 10-15m. Id imagine short sponsorship could be the same. We also have a catering partnership paying us anywhere from 20-30m that the club didn't have. So quite honestly, this is conservative.

And look, I think TFG will spend money. I wouldn't rule out a something like a 30m a year stadium deal on top of the above we have mentioned.

They're linked with appointing the head of Coca-Cola Italy as Roma's new CEO.

I think we can be reasonably confident that we'll have a decent board with no jobs for mates.

It's interesting that they are going to be scouting for a CEO for both Roma and Everton pretty simultaneously you'd think. Assuming they are not going to retain Colin Chong in the role, that is.
