Leadenhall Capital Partners may take adversarial measures to protect their position amid their concerns over the £200m loan made to Everton, according to Ben Jacobs.

The Give Me Sport journalist reported on 2 October that Leadenhall have written to a New York judge raising concerns A-Cap’s agreement with The Friedkin Group

I saw Ben Jacobs tweet, and it jumps the gun a little.

Of course Leadenhall will have concerns but the court papers go on to state that A-Cap have undertaken to provide information on the terms subject to a non-disclosure agreement.

We may get more information after the hearing as to whether A-Cap have made the details available to the court. You would assume then that Leadenhall's lawyers will scrutinise it.

That's the bit that will take some time. Jacobs goes on to say that TFG are confident of completion within 2+ months. If it all ties in with the regulatory and FA/PL approval then its just a case of waiting, but we knew that last week.

Utter nonsense, like moving into a new build house and moaning about the cost of decorating and furnishing it, the "build " is paid for as stated. the decorating/furnishing is not!

That's simply not the case

He claimed this in the Brighton programme 👇. That someone on here tried to quote to me as justification that another £60 million financing was not needed to finalise the stadium

It's been proven wrong because Friedkin Group are having to provide that £60 million to finalise it.

People can try and claim otherwise but its a fact and its the usual equivocation to try and get individuals at the club out of accusations they've been misleading people

Is everyone getting flustured because of an esk post along with another person who chats nonsense? I havent seen any legitimate stories about the deal imploding

If you're implying I've said (as you've referred to me using that terminology before) that the deal will "implode" you can retract that

I've said to @Goat :

This will not stop the club's purchase. It may or may not delay it a couple of weeks or months officially. That is all

Noted I was referring to the Ross guy on Twitter, but thanks for the clarity. Also I'm not a publication damo I can't retract a statement 😂 I'm a random poster on an everton forum

No worries. Some of the usuals on here have said similar referring to me in the past 48 hours and thought you were referring to me

To be honest the Esk posts were him just telling people there was a hearing on in New York

The first part of his tweet does not tally with the second part of his tweet. I noted that myself

Thought it was a bit naughty

I think people along with myself construed the esk post as insuitating that there was something amiss but if it was innocuous no harm in him posting.
