Nothing agreed, but these have been looking since 2022 according to this article.

My understanding was that we were in the final stages with a number of interested parties.

So I guess it’s going like it does when you’re selling your house and more than one buyer is interested: we might as well squeeze out as much as we can.

One thing we`ve learned down the years is not to believe what we read in the papers, or hear in the media regarding Everton.

Most businesses are sold on their profit (ebitda) not revenue.
Twitter being one of the most recognisable brands on the globe would attract a lot more value than most businesses.
But we are getting side tracked. Guess we are going to be richer but not completely wealthy in comparison to some of our rivals, especially given the two teams situation that need funding.

my opinion would be TFG's wealth as they are the ones buying us, not him personally..

We are debating whether his networth is greater than the company’s.
As they are privately held we don’t know what the ownership structure looks like. But if Dan Friedkins is the main owners it’s likely his wealth exceeds the the TFG. On the basis that his net worth would be the value of TFG in total and all the other assets he owns outside of business.

But my head now hurts and the only thing that really matters is how much of this wealth he is willing to spend on the Everton “project”
