I understand some nerves on the part of any Evertonian but I think we should allow ourselves a break and let the process unfold.

The sale is agreed and a joint statement was issued. I guess the Leadenhall case is a complication of sorts but TFG were confident enough to agree terms of sale with Moshiri with that ongoing.

If they thought it was an impediment to completion their legal representatives would have advised them of such and we would have heard nothing of an agreement.

There is a piece in "the i" (name?) this morning about Friedkins people being in on the ground in the last fortnight and having meetings with staff.

Nothings ever done till it's done. By the same token war could break out though. By Christmas Moshiri should be history.

It's been a month since the deal was agreed, I'm a optimist and even i don't see this being done until the end of November at the earliest,
