So much for there being a "TFG delegation" there yesterday.

Hate that word delegation.

The ever unreliable Alan Nixon suggesting that TFG want Bell and Downing on the Board.
It wouldn't be a surprise if at least one of them is on the board.

I think a good mix where directors are concerned would be made up of those already within the Friedkin group and some external, more independently minded appointees. You can't have an echo chamber for a board, which is what we've had for decades.

It would be a positive to have some business people in with existing connections to the club. Bell and Downing fit the bill perfectly although it depends on how dictatorial the Friedkins are going to be in insisting on having their own people in these roles.

There is probably quite a few seats at the table to be filled - x 2 Friedkins, the new CEO, probably 2 more from within TFG, and 2 externals. That would give us a board of seven directors which would be about right.
