Based on 5 minutes research and fag packet calculations there are about 35k Toyota employees in the US and several manufacturing and parts / support centres, this is separate to private franchise operations like Gulf States Toyota.

So whilst TFG are probably nervous and unhappy about this development, their exposure could be far worse. Trump has been talking about tariffs for years, so you'd assume they would be disappointed but not surprised, and have worked some degree of mitigation in with their business planning.

Toyota make loads of vehicles and parts in the USA, inc their largest manufacturing facility in der werld, these will be unaffected

Well, finally, we may have arrived in the 21st Century. Instead of a lumbering, rusting behemoth of a Club we've been dry docked, fitted out and are finally in a position to once again take majestically to the high seas with a captain and crew that know what they're actually doing instead of Pugwash.

Oh, I love all these nautical analogies - and BMD makes it so much easier to apply.

I think we had comments like that when Mosihri arrived - but he used a certain BK to guide him .......

We all knew, deep down, that nothing could really change with Kenwright in situ. The toxic, faux-sentimental, plucky culture of the club would remain intact.

And so it proved.

Everything CAN truly change now. We've got a real chance to become a modern football club once more.

Lets see if they can sign Jarrad on a long term deal - for me the first big test - a future captain of our club .....

Indeed we did but I was thinking BK when I mentioned Pugwash. Moshiri was more the Rear Vice Admiral who willingly - and naively - allowed the former too much rope whilst he, himself, was utterly clueless about how to run a ship and was manipulated by other brigands with only their own interests at heart.

Right, its all about the owner....but because its all about who they put in charge. Do they hire people who are good at their job and let them work, or hire an competent lackey?

Im a fan of a team that was the laughingstock of the league and run by someone worse than Kenwright. In 1 year new owners changed them into the talk of the league and the place everyone wants to be.

Wrexham?

Interesting article on him here that touches on his appointments at Newcastle and Leeds both on interim consultant roles.
Wonder if they want him to cast his independent eye over what the recruitment team / Thewell have already lined up.

He was - literally - the rusty anchor cast aside from the ship Jokerdan refers to.
