I’m fairly sure my mum still has my ceramic “pig in a nappy” piggy bank from NatWest circa ‘84 in her loft somewhere!

The stoppers are worth about a tenner alone!

I’ve got a full set of them. My mum thought they were worth a fortune until I found a full set on eBay for about 40 quid. My Mum has kept them boxed and wrapped since she has had them.

The beauty of ebay neant stacks of people could finish their sets and the value dropped.
I also have the full set.

Always though the barrel section would be a uniform finish / colour, basically a steel looking barrel across its entire length.
Not sure how I feel about the stripe effect (not that it detracts from the overall magnificence of it)

It's always had the stripe in the design.

I see it as a giant Everton mint.

Am I right that Trinity Street will be opening on a non-match day for the general public? If so, it could be a venue in its own right. Amazing.

Why?

Safety. More accidents trips and falls happen at night than during the daylight. I suspect they would want fans to get to know the layout of the stadium before we have a night time kick off.

You've combined the two there! Trinity Place in the East and Village Street in the West stand. I think the Village Street along with the even posher restaurant in that stand will be open all year round.

I’d never looked that closely at the roof tbh. Suspect depending on the amount of sunlight hitting it, it will make quite a difference to how it looks.

But they'll simply make sure the lights are switched on.
