New Everton Stadium

Shockingly [Poor language removed] imo

Looks like a kids made it out of lego

This is the San Siro just with the top tier and the towers along the side removed. It is consistently voted as one of the best stadiums in world football. Yes it needs modernising but bit much to say kids made it out of lego!!

I've been there a few times for the Milan Derby and the ground is just incredible.

Just been looking at a few different types of stadium and Inter had a few designs done of a reduced capacity San Siro. Anyone like to see this on the banks of the Mersey?

Definitely need to reduce the height of the roof (closing it off to the elements) and make it a bit less bulky and could also do without that screen plonked just in the middle but it has merit in my book.

Are they reducing the actual San Siro or just building a new smaller version?

I've no idea. I know both Milan clubs had plans to build a new stadium each, with a much reduced capacity, but both plans have been scrapped...as far as I'm aware.
Google Inter and Ac Milan new stadium plans.
How the mighty have fallen. There was once a time when Italian football seemed destined to rule the world...

That was actual plans from inter's side if AC build their own new stadium. The picture is of what the San Siro could look like if they removed the top tier taking it down to 55/60k. However AC have put on hold their plans to move out so don't know what is happening now, but both play in it half empty at the moment.

AC Milan had agreed to move to a new 48,000 stadium in the city so Inter tried to take control of the San Siro which is owned by the city. If this had happened Inter would have reduced the capacity to 60,000 from 80,000.

However Milan then decided against this and to stay at the San Siro so I think it is staying the same size.

This is what AC Milan were planning...

Terrible innit?
Looks like someone's dropped Middlesbrough's ground in a science park
