New Everton Stadium

Think he's going off of what the Twitter page 'The Top Balcony' was getting at the other day when he posted a piece about 14th March being the day where all the important people in the field of projects like our ground and other things like Liverpool waters and other things going off in the world meet up in France at a business convention and basically if things are happening then it gets the go ahead at this convention and if it does it basically means it's as good as happening...

While there was no falsehoods within the TopBalcony piece, they had drew the wrong conclusions with much of it. We will find out when we find out. That may well be the 14th, though I doubt it will be and it could just as easily be any other date from now until hithermore. I dont believe that the ground will be announced internationally before it does locally, Everton are a club that foster strong community links, hence I feel that Everton will be in charge of any potential media release.

In my eyes, the most interesting thing from there will be what isn't mentioned rather than what is.

According to google, Liverpool Football Club was formed on15 March 1892 following a disagreement between the directors of Everton Football Club and its president, John Houlding, who owned the club's ground, Anfield.

It would be a beautiful 125 year birthday present to share with our good friends across the park if we get the announcement on the 14th.

We should invite the RS for a preseason friendly at BMD when the time comes. I don't want them being the first to play against us there considering how generally awful we are against them, but it would be great to have a match with local charities being the beneficiaries.

They would be caught in a fix and it would be too awkward for them to refuse. Really laud it up against them on the night, showcase the stadium in every way possible in front of their noses, what great PR it would be.

I can't see them discussing Liverpool Waters at MIPIM without mentioning the stadium, which must surely be the main catalyst for further investment in Peel's wider project.

That's why I am hoping that @royalblue66 is correct with his 14th March date
