I hope the design is closer to the Kings Dock design than Destination Kirkby, if we have a stadium with a retractable roof and pitch we can use it for more non matchday stuff.

Awesome news. I actually heard a couple of weeks ago something along the same lines, same company as done the Olmpic Stadium are confirmed to be doing one for us.

My brother in law works for the them and the main architects name (presumably the same one as in efc1878's post) is Art Vandelay.

With all due respect to you and the original poster of this story, but you have no doubts whatsoever that the architect of a major company that built the Olympic Stadium would divulge appointment times with BK and would make a comment about how great Everton's stadium would be compared to Arsenal's?

.....no, I have no doubt that the poster is passing on the story he heard. I dare say some come on here and provide false information but it's a sad reflection on those who do.
