It's just numbers though. Stoke are often highlighted for having the noisiest end and it's pretty small in comparison.
Stand and roof design as important as the numbers.

Worth pointing out that the best atmospheres often come from smaller numbers. I've been to aways where we've taken 2000 and it's been absolutely deafening, then aways where we've taken 8000 and it's not quite the same. The core are further away from eachother, people are singing different songs in different areas etc. Bigger is not always better in that regard.

Random question but does anyone know if architects give consideration to things like changing rooms? We should make the away changing room so there's a constant hum from the stands so the players have a nervous breakdown...

Just going to point out at this juncture that i’m going to trademark ‘lanolin’s law’, which is quite similar to Godwin’s law but means that any discussion about new stadiums will result in someone shouting ‘YELLOW WALL THOUGH LAD’ within 10 comments .
