Pipedreams and fantasies Everton's stadium currency is in. If you could monetize those we'd have had a new stadium long ago. As it is, serious people require other serious people to have the wherewithal, otherwise it's all just BS.

I am surprised to see us looking likely to spend freely in the transfer market. It's a sharp contrast with the way that Spurs have reduced spending on transfers and wages in order to fund the payments on their stadium, both direct and loans, though the club has said that the budgets are separate. I am wondering if Moshiri is putting the stadium on hold and pushing for European football this year, as last year.

I guess it’s a good thing though? If Mosh ever leaves us then the stadium is just ours and the councils and hopefully wouldn’t end up messy. Seems safer.
