New Everton Stadium

Ai yai yai yai yai. All these accromoyms and confusions. Is it been built or wha.
Do you think efc will build bmd and move from gp but manage to keep the whs status?
.....

All this moaning from the usuals. If this was a kenwright project then yes I'd probably be in their camp as well. You can't lump in past failings onto Moshiri. They have told us dates let just wait a few weeks and see what happens eh?

Moshiri has already reneged on promises regards this stadium and moved the goal posts various times.

how many stadiums has he over seen and built ??

hes currently being advised by Bill kenwright with 3 failed stadium bids and kieth harris who delivered Wembley in disasterous fashion.

im sorry for being a little pesimistic

They have just had their attentions drawn to it (as we all have) over the last few days. That's why they've reacted to it. A professional approach would not have to firefight like that, but to get on top of the issue so it doesn't arise again...maybe by producing a design and plan of action that actually would satisfy what's being asked of them.

Typical of the club: they had 12 months to make headway on this with other interested parties and did nothing...which all the time points in the direction of this BMD scheme being a wild goose chase.
Even you can't seriously believe that Dave.

The Cavern area alone attracts more and more each year but Liverpool is so much more. For Americans and other international visitors, Liverpool was historically the centre of the slave trade(the slave triangle) and the world famous Liverpool Tropical Datlantic lineraatesease Hospital was built as a direct result of the slave trade.Historically there are many slave trade references around the city. Rarely do cities have two cathedrals. The Williamson Tunnels are unique. Many fine museums and galleries. Historic dockland. The world renowned Philharmonic Hall. The Philharmonic pub with its architecturally important gents toilets. Gormleys men on Crosby beach, were the radio transmitter was used to capture the murderer Crippen ..much more

I do remeber my first trip to merseyside, would have been about 12 I think and remeber going to see some dinosaur models at a museum , then went to goodison and my dad took me to the church and spoke with the reverend or preist for about an hour when I was there. Him saying Everton were very considerate etc and when they built the new stand it blocked the light through the windows so they put lights up etc. I’m unsure of the game it was either 1-1 against spurs and Stuart scored a header and Armstrong scored for spurs, think Brett angel hit the bar from a yard out, or was arsenal when Cotten scored and that was 1-1 too

Read something online that we are now looking at safestanding at both ends of the stadium, rather than just 1 as was previously mentioned. Looking at Dortmund, this takes them from 61,000 to 85,000, so I think ours could take us from 52,000 up to 61, 878 quite easily

What you mean is 'pretty' renders. They had the basis of the shape and internal form on display over a year ago.
A generic shape. Big deal.

I have given your other post from last night some thought though: the one where you imply that UNESCOs report is timed to coincide with the consultation. Now that could be useful for the club in terms of disciplining the fans to curb their clamour for a stadium beyond the 52,000 figure they're planning on capacity....
