Or maybe the girl tracked the guy down because he wasn't hard to find as a result of his work position. After trying to deny it, he was shown cctv and he paid up.

Mmmm, so girl takes it upon herself to become The Equalizer and hunt the man down who ‘may or may not be’ him, demanding he pay as its all on camera. Really? Surely, armed with the footage, you go to the cop station, hand the footage over and let the Police do their thing. Tales or untruths like this are dangerous and can ruin lives. The tales and can easily be passed down the line onto friends, relatives, social media etc. The Tale then becomes ‘fact’. People then think the innocent man is guilty and has to put up with rumours and whispers for the rest of his life. You should work for The Sun.

I am down Albert Dock right now, in Pan Am, looking out at the Liver Building which is resplendent under a clear blue sky, thinking how great it will be if and when our new stadium takes its place on the Mersey skyline
