You stated that the funding is not close to being finalised and said your quoting a source at the club.

You not going to name that source or tell us what position or post they occupy?

Why would the club turn down straight forward funding from the council when they openly courted it in the past if they were not close to securing funding ?

Why bother with all of this tonight and the steps taken thus far if your assertion is that case ?

To what end knowing that the fan base would erupt if it fell through again ?
