I wonder if the design has been scaled back from Meis original intention based on what we can afford - looks new as you say with a unique roof.

The brick looks very much like the Colts stadium in NFL.

I would guess they can change that up based on what is going on at the stadium. Although it’s tough to tell from these images.

That's the one thing I dislike.. but I guess once we've got sponsorship that name will go there and it'll be illuminated and visible across the Mersey.
