So, since the plans came out, has anything actually happened on this? We still dont have a work start date or know which company will do the work ?

There was an article in the Echo a few days ago which waffled a lot, but basically was saying we weren't far off sorting out who the main contractor would be.

The planning process is long and rambling. They will be collating all the feedback, then producing reports and brochures demonstrating how they have taken all these viewpoints on board. These events draw a fair amount of comments, quite a few of which are from nutters, but which sadly can’t be dismissed out of hand.
They will be undertaking all sorts of environmental studies and will no doubt have found great crested newts and wild boar. They will be preparing wild boar and newt mitigation statements.They will be undertaking Appropriate Assessments of environmental impacts, considering the impacts on Martin Mere wetland, The Forest of Borland and the Lake District.
They will be creating photomontages showing the stadium from viewpoints at distances of 2km 10km and 50km then consulting with Colwyn Bay council.
The planning application hasn’t gone in yet. All of this consultation has to happen ahead of the application.
