New Everton Stadium

Didnt realize it was that far, however 30minutes walk, it would still be a lot faster then tring to drive over, especially if you then have a 10 minute walk after parking

10 minute walk? You'll be lucky to park within a 30 minute walk. Public transport, special buses in particular, will be the order of the day.

Sandhills is literally around the corner. Why would you walk from any other train station?

I guess people coming over from the Wirral and Cheshire by train will have their own new match day pubs. There are pubs galore near James Street and a shuttle buses outside the station would be very well used.

I suppose you could argue that it makes no sense to spend a few minutes changing to the Northern line at James Street, to wait a few more minutes, to catch a train which will actually take you past BMD for you to get off at Sandhills and walk the 12 minutes back to BMD (yes, I've timed that one as well). Timewise, that wouldn't be much of a saving on walking it (not withstanding bad weather). A shuttle bus from James Street for Wirral and Cheshire Toffees is an obvious solution. IMHO, of course.

Sorry, I meant to say change to the Northern line at Moorfields. That's something I do after a day out in the fine pubs of Chester. Assuming, I don't fall asleep and head back out on the loop, of course :)

If the escooter companies don’t cash in on this, they’d be daft. Have proper drop off points at the pier head or nearest train stations and one at the ground. They’ve already built in the cycle lane on the dock road, probably get more use from scooters than bikes.

Yeah you wouldn't get me on one but they are ideal for such a short journey. Now there's a task for somebody with time on their hands. How long by leccy scooter from the Pier Head to BMD? 10 minutes?
