New Everton Stadium

Okay, thanks.

I am curious how you can tell. Particularly, why finish them in the same style as the others if they'd work just as well unfinished or cheaply finished?
The floor slabs/decks provide stability to the frame so until these are in place then substantial temporary bracing is required.

The below is from the Construction Management plan which shows all the temporary steelwork in green, including the bit you've highlighted.

A lot of the temporary steel will need to be kept in place for an extended period of time so they have painted/ protected the same as the permanent. steelwork.

That's not straight for a start.

Excellent and informative answer. Thanks.

Was down by BMD yesterday and took a few snaps and had a little nose - the imaginary stadium is coming along nicely.

Last photo is the view from the Bradley Moore pub, which will be pretty special when it’s all done. Still gonna cry me eyes out when we leave Goodison like.

"Tear down that wall Mr Gorbachev".

The dock wall is a nuisance.

We dont want the club to spend over half a billion on a new stadium which stimulates billions of quids worth of regeneration for the city and have it hidden away from a wall built by prisoners.

Knock that 'kin thing down completely.

Imagine Liverpool FC having to put up with diktat from conservationists if they'd built a stadium at the docks....no, I cant ether.

The structural integrity of the roof upon completion will also add to the strength as it will balance out the momentum of the structure. Great image, thanks.

Its really difficult at times to explain the stresses on a structure such as this, and how fine optimisation can be. I was trying to print 3D models with Tekla stress modelling imagery baked into the objects. Like a 3D CGI stress model, but one that you could hold in your hands.

Awesome, thanks for digging that out - much appreciated.

Great spot. I was worried that bottom angled beam was going to spoil the walkway along the front of the stadium.
