New Everton Stadium

Yep that's all I do mate, try and watch the drone vids, pics what people post here and I've been down to see it myself a couple of times as well.

If you get a chance to get down there mate, definitely do. The South Stand is huuuuuuuuuuge!!!

Was thinking I might have a stroll down there over the weekend, have a gander and a pint in the BM. Went a few months ago, as the steel was starting to go up in the south end, but I fancy another ‘in-person’ look.

heading down on Sunday with my son, cant wait to be fair.
Like most people just want to know where we will sit in future and if we can move. We are in MS1 at present just above the family enclosure. On the new plans I believe there is a family stand so assume we maybe lower down if they move like for like, or as best they can. Although want to move to the new home end if possible..........but sure thousands of others do to.

Yeah I would think the East stand would be like the main stand but I think that's the one with loads of corporate (might be the other way round) and they deffo could have built a 40k home end and we'd all be in there for bedlam lol

I can't remember what Road it is but if you come from the rs stadium as if you are heading into town, at the top of the road (there is/used to be an old upholstery shop on the corner) you can drive straight down (and see) the stadium. Then when you come close to it, you'll see how big its going to be and what you gotta remember is its going to be about 30% taller than you will see as the roof isn't on. It's going to look fantastic!!!

I had a nice walk down there, from James Street station, when the site was first confirmed.

As a relatively fit 'oldie' , took me about 15 minutes leisurely stroll.

I hope the stadium galvanises the immediate area, as it was a bit minty down there.

I went 2 Sundays on the spin mate and the work what was done in between was unreal. It'd hard to gage from the drone vids sometimes (though they are boss) but when you view from ground level you can easily see "well those 4 beams weren't there last week, that terrace section wasn't there, that West stand has come on this week".

Yeah, needs investment. But having 53,000 walking down the road once every fortnight will galvanise a lot of people into trying to separate them from their cash.

It's genuinely breathtaking.

The scale of it, and the speed it's progressing, is mind boggling. Spend an hour there during the day and there's a constant procession of wagons in and out. You can watch stuff being delivered and lifted into place. It's fascinating.
They are doing some limited weekend working as well. Been told by someone who works for LOR that their intranet is reporting they are ahead of schedule.
