New Everton Stadium

Any way of knowing if the roofing covers all the front seats at BMD?

Mate at Man City sits at pitch level near half-way line and is uncovered - he gets soaked! Hopefully no such issues at BMD.

No idea on this one, sorry mate.

Just know it will be Baltic down there in the winter months.

Wouldn’t make a difference in this case. I’m pretty sure we couldn’t just close a roof if we want for a pl game.

I might be wrong but didn’t city add rows at the front to bring the stands closer to the pitch?
I know they've just ripped out some at the front to make way for their massive advertising boards.

I'm not sure if there are any rules regarding playing under a closed roof. I know there are several covered stadia in Europe and worldwide that do play with the roof closed and I think the next generation or phase of redevelopment will see more of these in the UK.

Bilbao's San Mames stadium is quite similar in scale to BMD and they had to extend their roof above the pitch slightly. Fans have higher expectations nowadays, especially at modern ticket prices and cost of new stadia. I think there'd be a similar sentiment at BMD.

Moshiri won't sell the club till its built.

He's put far to much of his own capital into it to just flog it half way through the build when he knows he could get double once its finished.

Fair play to him as well. Make no mistake without him it doesn't happen and even if the ground is the only postive thing he leaves us with after his tenure is over then it's still and incredible achievement.

Yes a huge extension of their roof. They are practically playing indoors

Club have received a takeover bid this week.
Wouldn't surprise me at all. Moshiri must be over a barrel with the stadium finances and potential bidders must all know that. Once Usmanov was out of the way the door has been thrown open for new owners, and they'll eventually be successful; they just have to wait Moshiri out until the cash starts to dry up and it focusses his mind on the valuation he places on the club.
