New Everton Stadium

Everton could be now forced to sell new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, arrangement to become tenants mooted

Everton could be forced to sell their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock if they’re relegated from the Premier League, according to Ian Herbert.

The Daily Mail columnist wrote on Tuesday (4 April) that in a bid to claw back some of their cash if they do drop into the Championship, the Blues may end up becoming tenants in their own new stadium.

They are mate but I think there's a divide now so not sure it'll look like the fancy mockups. This divide come in a few years ago;

The divide is essentially a super-riser... i.e. one big step so that if it is safe-standing in the lower, the upper section can still see over the standing section. The idea is to still give the illusion of one continuous tier. The south stand at NWHL is similar.

Ian Herbert = Filthy red. Simples.

They said the divide has always been there but not convinced it was...

You are right the early concept drawings like above did not have the super riser dividing the upper and lower sections. As for the tweets the picture you have shown is the 15k stand that belonged to the 60k version of the stadium. If you look the West stand has three tiers and the gaps along the sides of the South stand which were related to that design.

You asked will it still house 13k which they replied yes to, that is correct as that will be the actual capacity. A bit smaller than the picture but will still be impressive none the less.

Dortmund's Yellow Wall stand looks like our South Stand when empty though: it has that riser to it.

I read this week that the second , and last but one truss was due to be lifted on the south stand . Does anyone know if that has occurred, as I imagine that they are on holiday tomorrow/ next week.

I'm sure the club/stadium twitter account put out saying that had happened.

Edit; this was actually the tweet

Four days ago so potentially by end of week.

31st March they put out that the stadium is on schedule so I wouldn't worry.

Will try swing past later and have a nose. Weather is fairly decent today so hopefully truss section No14 of 15 will be in place by end of the day

Meis is in town this week isn’t he? Might be there for the topping out as the roof will be the highest part of the build. So if the was only 2 sections left it might add up.
