The lad has a point just imagine what an everton themed venue could look like...

I would've thought that in the modern climate, they might want to take full advantage of the wall, to create a semi-secure zone around the stadium. Allowing ticket holders only beyond that point on matchdays, with checks and bag searches etc at the wall gates rather than at the turnstiles. Also encouraging people to arrive earlier to avoid these pinch points.

They will have the ability to do that as the entrance points through the dock wall will all have gates on them. I personally can't imagine that the area surrounding the ground is going to be over-run by ticketless supporters, certainly not to an extent where it would become problem. The Fan Plaza is huge and it's not like the club will be showing the game there.

As the general secretary of the main trade union here ( NUCE) National Union of Circus Employees, I must take exception.
Any comparison between the Circus and Everton football club is a potential slander on my dedicated and hard working members. 🤡


A circus has a purpose, structure, and entertains, whilst Everton Football Club.................................................

Oh yeah, The Emirates was all about the Arsenal at a similar stage in its development.

And the Etihad positively screamed "Manchester City's football stadium" back in 2002.
