Are there any estimates as to when the exterior will be completed? Im assuming that will be well in advance of finishing the interior, and preparing the stadium for actual matchdays.

While not fully answering the question, the interior is mainly now 'water-tight' in the sense they're fitting interior (e.g. hydro-pools) and the sparks are coming in.

Laings manager told me the Stadium should be completed in October of never year but then several months of “familiarisation” will be needed. They said that could go on to early Spring.

Looking less likely we’ll be playing in it at some point next season in my opinion.

As I mentioned previously:

December is the latest they can hand it over, without penalties is what I've always been told. The prediction has always been on the more cautious side.

They're now more confident of the October date, which will push forward the dates for training of new facilities and the test events.

It is the handover date, not the move in date as I've previously mentioned. After the handover, Everton will have to then acclimatise themselves to the new stadium.

This will include training on all the equipment, passing the safety certificates and doing test events. That's another two months, minimum.

Its gonna be a unique, iconic stadium. Why not incorporate the Fourth Grace into the naming? If we get corporate naming rights, the Fourth Grace always stays in the actual name. Ignoring a war, the USM Fourth Grace Stadium doesnt sound too shabby. To me anyrate.

Its fricking amazing! The view from the South concourse is wonderful. I think i want to be in the west stand, but really want to be able to have a beer looking at that view pre match!
