I don’t really understand Esk’s point here- “if the club say funding for the stadium is secured, how come someone is funding the stadium?”. Isn’t that just the funding they are referring to?

I expect a large chunk of the 777 money goes on the interest bill to keep the plates spinning until we can refinance the lot.

Yeah the electricity related puns have been superb today...... honest. We've got a golf WhatsApp group despite only ever all playing together once that's descended into a bit of a "lads lads banter merchants" load of rubbish. Oh I've been laughing all day. Not.

I know there has been a lot of chat about car parking at the new stadium (of no interest to me to be honest) but looking at the start of CP Overview's latest vid (excellent as always) I see that the waterworks next door has a decent amount of space which could be used for that very purpose. Is there a reason why they would be adverse to renting those places out on a match day? Just thinking out loud here.

They've at least doubled the amount that they had already done, so that's good news showing they can do it faster than we had previously seen.

Let's just hope they put the sheets in the right order now where the perforations appear to wrap around in a diagonal pattern.
