Just had to Google this as I was sure it was Cobh. Turns out Queenstown changed its name to Cobh in the late 1920'sJust to clear things up for any that are interested. It sailed from Southampton with the bulk of it's passengers on April 10th 1912 and picked up more passengers in Cherbourg before finally picking up the last set of passengers in Queenstown Ireland.
Good shout aye.Back on topic, I quite like the name St. Domingo's Stadium
Second time I've been corrected on this! I prefer the plane over boats anyway.I'm being pedantic I know but I think the Titanic's last sail was from Cobh
That's just the side alley up to the house mate.I'd always imagined The Esk's back garden to be bigger than that for some reason

Because it's not a very good name. While were on the subject why not call it the "Mersey Titanic Stadium"

Sounds good mate but as we won't be part of the EU we won't be able to have anything that continental sounding lolOr
Stadion San Domingo!
I believe the RS have some sort of trademark copyright on the liverbird? The name of the stadium should and will go to whatever company is willing to pay the most for naming rights. Moving next door to a sewage works would be an absolute disaster and shouldn't even be considered.
The titanic was never in Liverpool...... In sure our relation to the titanic was white star line company 30 James st building was their head office.I'm being pedantic I know but I think the Titanic's last sail was from Cobh
It didn't exactly have a fantastic reliability record, that ship.....While were on the subject why not call it the "Mersey Titanic Stadium"
